EinfachRecht — The Legal Professional Job Platform CMS
März 2025
An enterprise-grade Content Management System developed for einfachrecht.com, a platform providing accessible legal content to German-speaking audiences. This is my largest and most ambitious project to date – a complete CMS solution managing complex workflows for legal content.
The Challenge
Legal content demands exceptional structure and precision. Articles must be versioned, reviewed, and published via defined workflows. Cross-references between legal topics need to be maintained. The admin interface must empower legal editors without requiring technical expertise.
Platform Features
- Multi-collection architecture for articles, categories, and legal references
- Draft and live preview system for editorial review
- Scheduled publishing with job queue
- Dynamic page builder with customizable layouts
- Full-text search across all legal content
- SEO optimization with automatic meta generation
- Form builder for user inquiries
- Access control for various editor roles
Technical Architecture
Built on PayloadCMS with Next.js 15, leveraging Supabase for robust data storage. The frontend uses shadcn/ui components, consistent with the project's CI, powered by Tailwind CSS v4 for a clean, accessible user interface. Deployed on Vercel with Axiom for observability.
Content Workflow
Editors work within a familiar interface, similar to traditional word processors, yet with the power of structured content. The Lexical Editor supports rich formatting while ensuring content remains semantically correct for SEO and accessibility.
Scale & Impact
The platform manages hundreds of legal articles across various categories, serving thousands of visitors seeking accessible legal information. The CMS architecture ensures content remains maintainable as the platform grows.
